Yucca baileyi var. intermedia

Yucca baileyi var. intermedia - Bailey's Yucca

The species was first described by Wooten & Standley in 1913.  This variety is found
only in New Mexico, it was first described by Susan Delano McKelvey (as Yucca intermedia)
in 1947.  Flora of North America recognizes Yucca intermedia.  It is found at elevations
between 1100 and 2100 meters.
