Limenitis weidemeyerii - Weidemeyer’s Admiral

Limenitis weidemeyerii was first described by W. H. Edwards in 1861. The species is found from Southern Alberta south to Nebraska and east-central California and in SE Arizona and southern New Mexico. Some propose six subspecies.
