Hillsboro Artist Melody Sears &

Poet Chuck Barrett

Opens May 14

Tombaugh Gallery in Las Cruces

"Duologue: Conversations Between Poetry and Pastel" opens on Mother' Day, May 14, at the Tombaugh Gallery in Las Cruces. It features pastel paintings by Melody Sears hanging alongside the poetry of Chuck Barrett, her husband. They have been working on this show for almost a year and it's shaping up to be a tribute to the deep connections between literature and visual art.

The exhibit includes some poetry inspired by pastels by Melody Sears and some paintings inspired by Chuck's poetry. You can read more about "Duologue" in Melody Sears’ April Newsletter.  To subscribe to her newsletter please email her at to request a subscription.
